Default Formula 292sr1 exhaust manifolds

Hi I have an 88 formula 292, with 454 mags. I would like to upgrade the exhaust to stainless marine or other manufactures, but was wondering If I was to find some used sets, how do I know they will fit? Is there a hight and angle fitment that is specific to Formula, or one size fits all kinda thing. I have found some used sets on this forum, from other boats, that look like they could fit, but not sure to pull the trigger on anything, tell I know.

I had an '89 292 SR1. Exhausts on it were standard mercruiser bravo fitment, nothing special.
I really enjoyed that boat - had a lot of fun with it.

I've had two 1988 311 SR-1s, one had aluminum spacer blocks (I've never seen since) and the other got custom high risers from Hardin (with LOTS of measurements).

Most SR1's require a 3" taller riser due to the silent thunder box. I had an 1989 311 that I put EMI manifolds with the 3" taller HP stainless risers they sell and it was a perfect fit. Not sure about the 292's specifically but I would be surprised if they were any different.
