500 efi electric fuel pump
Does anyone know how big a job and how long it takes to replace the electric fuel pump for a 500 efi in an 01 29 Fever?

In fact!
simple task in my triple
but in a 29 fountain.... ouch !!!!
might be a challenge!
unless the backseat lifts up with the hatch to access the front of engines?
or taking the engine out might be the solution... got a picture?

I'm pretty sure I saw it near the mount when I was draining the block and water pressure hose while winterizing it. Guess I'll be paying someone to replace it. I'll have to take a better look at it this weekend.

ON a stock 500 efi the fuel pump is mounted underneath the front of engine under or slightly behind the harmonic balancer. You would disconnect the water lines to the fuel cooler, disconnect the fuel lines then take nuts of the studs o the mount that hangs down near bottom of your front accesories. Some boats you can have that out in half hr

Yep, Smitty is right, I was thinking 502 mag efi, it mounts on the bracket bolted to the studs on each side of the block bottom of the front of the oil pan

I used this pump and have been for over a year with no issues, at the time couldnt find an OEM pump and this seems like an exact replacement. Price isnt bad either lol

Big difference in price there. And it will work for 500 efi? I only saw black models in description. How about any "specialty tools" to do this job? The boat is over an hour away from my house and I like to have everything I need with me so if I do need to go get something, it'll be beer 🍺
