I sold it running perfectly, not sure what happened there ...valve train was solid , .904 lifters, Shaft rockers, etc.
Never had a single trans issue in 12 years either .
So I feel terrible about that too .. he hasn`t used it since.
sounds like a good time to buy it back😊

I had a roll pin snap on my distributor gear years ago. I had to keep adjusting timing. The pin was " visually there" but broke on the inside. Hard to diagnose.

Not much to add, Dan. Just a wish of better luck. You’ll get her sorted.

Sucks to hear about the Carpe Diem, too. You had her dialed in sweet.

Maybe time to pull it all over the winter and go back to what you had on the cig...holley efi/CNP ignition and be done with it. Judging from the pics in the add of the kitty the previous owner looked older and I'm wondering if he told who was ever working on the boat that he's selling it and they didn't put their best effort in? May or may not be the case but like others have said....stick with it brotha! You'll get her sorted

F2,

I've been making this exact statement for years. Glad someone finally heard me....

Thanks. Brad.

Dan,

Hey... You built a couple of REALLY cool engines once before. You can do it again.

Thanks. Brad.
