The mefi has been a pain, there`s something not right. I thought it was inteference but it may be a grounding issue in the harness.
I`m pulling the engines, an annual tradition, going thru everything, switching to Holley.
I`ll make Bad Kitty, purrrrr fect for next year.

Dan,
I am all for innovation and creative ways of doing things. Your engine hoist arrangement is interesting. Would it have been easier to pull the boat out of the building and use the crane? Pulling off a roof panel to me is adding more work, just wondering. I do like the engine lift plate, got to get one of those myself for the winter project. I have a boom made for the forklift to pull the boat engines here.

Would have been easier to use a crane for sure. At $500/hr. I`ll spend the extra 10 minutes pulling the roof panel and take my time lol.
Not a building .. just a boat shed .

My wife is all in on the upkeep of the boat, as far as cleaning and such. But she's out for any kind of mechanical stuff. She didn't even want to hear any progress reports on either the injector project or the pop-up cleat project. The complete engine rebuild project is going to be a hoot for her....
Thanks. Brad.
