Removed tach wire, no help. Just coming into the dock it died completely which is new symptom, no volts on voltmeter, no crank, key did nothing. Jumped upper solenoid and it cranked. Tried to jump + batt to + coil to create ignition and found dead short with that so replaced coil, no help. Still no volts or crank. Checked each individual wire going to + coil and found dead short was electric fuel pump wire. So removed that and it started with key and ran for a bit but no fuel pump so not long. So now seems like electric fuel pump is intermittently shorting somehow and stealing power from coil and/or not providing enough fuel.

Why is the electric fuel pump being ran off the coil, it should have its own direct source through a relay
