Default TRS cutout dimensions

Does anyone have a dimensioned drawing of the TRS cutout/gimble transom mount bolt pattern and shaft location? Want to ply with the idea of a replacement drop box surface drive on the CAD system a little.

No far from done with the Vette. How's your vette doing these days? And, welcome to the board (I wonder how many Roger's in KanKaKee with a Checkmate would know about my Vette project).

So far the boat is running well, but I've wanted to find some affordable alternative to Merc drives for a long time, so thought I'd do some "advance planning" work.

Hi Greg:
Thanks for the welcome. I`ve seen a couple of your posts but I was waiting for the right time to out myself.
Have you been watching the thread about the ''pulse'' drive installation? That looks pretty interesting plus it has a big rooster tail that would be usefull for those making the transition from the jet boat squad. By the way, what are YOU doing still screwing around with recips? I figured you would have turbines in there by now. Those TRS`s wo`nt hold up to that!.......Oh...Now I get it!

Roger - Yes, I love the Pulse installation, but long for one that will just bolt to the transom with no other mods required (I'm lazy as well as cheap you know) ... ergo the look at what would bolt to a TRS transom bolt pattern. Any interest in machining one if I come up with something??

Turbines ?? you got a secret stash of affordable ones laying around that I don't know about?

Drop me an e-mail so I can snag your address. The latest Vette pics are at http://corvetteforum.net/classics/gregp/65corvette.htm

Greg;
I don`t think I would be capable of machining one but we both know a big scary cnc guy that could. Jack now has a small cnc mill in his shop and I`m sure that he would be up for it.
I would be glad to do any fabing or welding that would be required for the project. Just so it makes a great big rooster tail when it`s finnished...............Roger 1
