Go right to the source. Mercury makes the best one PERIOD. Has all the info you need and you know the info is correct.

Just go to any Mercury dealer or call one of the on line places like Bam or others. They will get you one. They are like 24 bucks. Have your Serial number ready to go. If they are not in stock do not worry about it Mercury owns its own printing press and will make you one.

What you need is MerCruiser service manual #5

This book will give you the real poop about the TRS drive.

I consider it a "must have" item for the TRS dude

Too full of useful info

Kurt.

Bam, go-fast.com has the parts manual on-line.

Hope that helps.

Install a Pulsedrive, and you won't need a manual, or gear lube, or special tools.

if you had posted this 2 weeks ago, I could have dropped off a Merc TRS manual when I went to Cary, NC.

damn -- story of my life a dollar short and a day late!

I sent an email to BAM -- didn't see a manual online -- so hopefully they can get me one --

In the mean time I am getting ready to pull my drive -- anything in particular i should watch out for?
