Default trim tab switch

My boat was equipt with bennett tabs but i am switching to K Plains . I havent got the trim pumps for them yet but I was looking to see if the old bennett switch would opperate the two new pumps or do I need a new switch and more wires. Also if anyone has a wiring diagram to show me how to wire this setup i would apreciate it . thanks

Paul

The circuit is real simple. Switches send power to motor up or down coil, and to up or down solenoids. Only no-no is you can't engerize both the up and down motor coils at the same time or it will blow fuse. To avoid that problem use relays and diodes in a lock out circuit. Switches for the motor should be at least 20 amps unless your using the relays.
