Default Carb Rebuilds

WHO HAS THE BEST CARB REBUILD PROGRAM..I HAVE A COUPLE OF DOMINATORS THAT NEED FRESHENING--I UNDERSTAND THAT NICKERSON HAS A VERY GOOD PROGRAM OR MAYBE PRO SYSTEMS ,DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY INPUT..THANKS

Hello Guys,
If you need just freshening up, any good performance oriented shop should be able to do that for a LOT less than Nickerson. If you need something special you will need someone who can handle that. Check with the local speed shop or racers. Do the homework and don't just go with the first name you hear. There are racers almost everywhere and round trackers experience almost the same as boaters.

the bushings in the butterflies are shot on one of my 850's thats kind of a specialty thing is'nt it? can I buy a 850 base plate from holley cheaper?

Hey, Dyno,
Holley will gladly sell you a base plate. They cost almost as much as a whole carb. You will have to find someone with the ability to bush the shafts or buy a plate. Bushing would be my choice if everything else is OK. Bronze bushings last.

I am happly to help, but I'd ignore my last post and ask someone I would trust-How about it, Rum Runner??
He does it for a living at Barry Grant-one of the best!
