I'm just curious what size jets you are running. Can you post that for me.
Thanks,

I went through a similar situation some time back. Tried to get jetting correct on a 502 with dual plane hi rise. Never could get even plug readings. Had to go way fat to keep from leaning out some of the holes even with cross jetting. Switched to a Dart single plane and re-jetted. No real change in speed on either one but my plugs evened out somewhat. Cross jetting on the dual plane is a compromise at best. Is this a Holley 800?
Look at RPM ranges and prop before you go yanking intakes. Do your best before you try the single plane. Early in the year? Old gas? Timing spot on? Cover all the basics. Did you phase the rotor correctly for the Hi-6? Which ignition curve are you using?

Did talk with Edelbrock Tech. department today, they recommend that the Victor Jr. be replaced with a RPM air gap (duel plane) manifold. the Victor Jr. is to much for this engine at the low RPMs it is operating in. They assured me I would see big improvements in the operation of the engine in the mid range power and top end power. This sounds great if true. any one out there running a air gap RPM, if so how do you like it? Thanks for the help
