does anyone manufacture a full hydraulic steering system for a bravo type sterndrive application that does not require an engine mounted power steering pump??...i want to minimize the number of belt driven engine accessories due to some space considerations but i need to run a full hydraulic steering system...
any suggestions would be appreciated..from mike at ctmar.

Go with a outboard system. You will have a bunch more turns lock to lock but it will work fine.

Mike, I have exactly what you are asking about. I have a new Hynautic/Telefex H824 hydraulic helm with a matched BA175-7TM bronze and brass balanced cylinder. These were going in my 35' Cigarette with twin 454s and TRS drives, but I am going to use the OSO system from Maxxk9 and crew instead. The Hynautic system was recommended by the engineering staff there and is designed to not require power steering boost. Call me if you are interested. Bob Newman 303-674-1607.
