Thanks for the reply's. I have a modified BBC. I was looking at these for the added "dry start" protection they offer. Just sounds like a good idea to me. I need to freshen up the bottom end this year and felt it would be a good addition. Does anyone know how to get ahold of "Doug" or anyone else on OSO that is a dealer. I like to support fellow OSOer's.

Here I am. We did a group thing a year ago that turned out pretty good for everyone. I did purchase 2 for myself but have not mounted them. Other projects got in the way and I am really having a hard time figuring out where to mount them. I have to purchase 3 at a time to get good piecing. So if you can put something together let me know. This really is a good product. Thanks Doug [email protected]

For oil change, warm up the motors, then turn them off and leave the Masterlube switch "on". The oil will flow back into the motor (almost all of it) and will be drained out with the rest. When you refill, go a quart extra and be sure to pour oil into your filter before you screw it on. Restart (yes, this will be a pressure-less start, but you should still have a good oil film from the running you did just a few minutes prior) and let the pressure build. Run the motor up to 2500 and let the oil pressure get up pretty good. Shut down and fill the crankcase to the proper level. You're good to go, and shouldn't have missed any more oil in the Luber than you left in the oil pan.

Doug -
What are we looking at price wise if there were 5 of us looking to buy?
Other than advertising literature, do they have any data/documentation supporting the product?
Thanks,
Kirk

I called Kerry at Master Lube and he will discount the systems like before. 3-5will be $340.00. 6-whatever will be $310.00 including shipping. You have to go through a dealer like myself for the discount. You can go with a Check or Credit Cards. Lets first find out how many are interested and how many units we are talking about. Maybe give it a week for everyone to think about it and then get it all together.
This really is a great system. mcollinstn is right on about the oil change. The system will stay pressurized for a very long period of time. It might only very a few pounds maybe because of the temperature difference from when you last used it.
Pass the word and anything I can do to help let me know.
