They are expensive. I used the Cometic gaslkets on my 502 w/B&M 250. I used ARP head bolts. Only have an hour or two on it. Not much to report. Engine builder recommended them.

I have recently used them in lieu of tapping for the extra head bolts or oringing....as insurance. They were highly recomended and seemed to hold torque pretty well. Ran on dyno....so far so good. They ain't cheap!

Yep alot of Cup teams use them and they hold !!1
They installed right with good bolts will do much better than the
fel-pro
I have a B&B O-ring tool for BB chevys thats almost new and uses the trick fel-pro gasket made for this tool ,,the tool was close to
1900.00 new I have 2 now and will sell this one for 999.00--if anyone wants it

Cometic Head Gaskets
Thanks for the posts. True, they aren't cheap (~$150 a pair), but good insurance for a Gen V blower motor that has blown Fel Pro gaskets twice between the #5 and #7 cylinder.
