Well, I ran one, side by side against a stock impeller, new pump bodies. I didnt see any advantage other than it was easier to install. I changed the Globe out after the second year due to wear. It had worn more than the stock impeller. Since I dont ever run my engines without water to them, it may not have been a fair test. I do run in some shallow water with a lot of sand and it didnt do very well with that against the stock one. They probably will never get stiff and break like the stock ones do after years but I pull my pumps down every winter to check them anyway so there was no advantage for me. I wont buy them again for this, stay in the water, application.
