Routing of trim limit/sender wires ALPHA
OK, the limit came with a clip that attaches to the water line, but the sender just seems to hang there. The instructions just show the wires going up through the transon with nothing keeping them together or routed away from the tilting and turning of the housing. Give me the best practice so they last. The olds wires didn't exist so I had nothing to go by.

There's a hole and seal that the wires are to pass through. It's located behind the drive/bell housing.
When I get home I'll see if I can scan a copy of the pic in the repair manual.
As for keeping them clear of moving parts, there's not much for it to catch on. Mine are run loose and in the open.
BTW if you don't know, the limit switch goes on the port side of the gimbal and the trim sensor goes on the starboard. I'll try to scan that too.
