what ever happened to the GM performance 572 motor they were planning to build?

I just saw what was supposedly the first 572 released on TNN's Truckin show yesterday. It sounds like they're starting to release this crate engine to the public. It looked pretty sweet as they were dropping it on a older model Chevy truck chassis!!
