I do see were you are comming from but posts like the one from Offshore Addiction dont help any one. This is not this guys first post about his project and it is not a what do you think question. He is completly aware of what might or could happen that is why he askes a question like this from people with simular experences and some thoughts and ideas as he finishes it up. Rag's

Really the only bad part for this project in my experance are the
cast pistons I've done several with 3/8 rods and cast crank as its rpm's that kill them not boost (with in reason )
T R W and speed pro had a piston that was very cheap for blowers in std,30,,60,over and I swapped them for the cast piston for next to nothing ,and they even have reverse deflector
domes !! They were turbo pistons I think ,no big deal they don't care blower or turbo ,,their cheap !!
Then you will have a reasonable 5 to 6 lbs blower motor cheap
use a 280 comp flat tappet cam on a 114 ,andput some extra clerance on the wrist pins
From here you can go as mild or wild as you want this is a good starter motor
The 330 with cast is tough to do with cast pistons I agree

you guys are killin me here.

i know the 330 hp motor is not the ideal motor to put procharger on. i've know a few people who have run 5 lbs w/ an innercoler and haven't had any problems. i've got an EGT gauge and plan on checking the plugs on a regular basis. all i want to know is what plugs other people have run on similar applications so i don't run them to hot.

thanks.

The 330 is a great motor if you run it within it's limitations. Use your head when you're out there and you'll be fine.
