What boost pressure?
If below 3, then try one size colder.
If above 3, try two sizes colder.
If you can't keep a clean plug at cruise, then go up one hotter.

Go with cold one!!!
I melted one last season and did all sort of damage to the cylinder and one of the valves. At the time I was only running under around 3-4 pounds of boost (4400-4500rpm). You know what kind of damage detonation can cause as those rpms??? Damage that can cost a **** load of money to fix..
I currently run a V-power R5674-8
It's an extended tip, which I don't think is recommended for a blower motor to begin with, but no more problems so far(about 75hours). I just put new ones in it.
