The crossovers came with the boat originally. I just moved them to the new motors. Haven't had any problems with them. The boat runs very cold with them, but I boat in 80-85 degree water and am carbureted so it is really not a problem. Your rig looks great! What HP?

It's stock, 425hp..... for now
Are you running thermostats?
Water up here at the warmest gets to about 70*.
I want to replace the water pump but i'd really rather switch to the cross over system.
For what i'll spend on a new pump and belts and hoses, i can buy the cross over.

The test flight was awesome! The motors sound great. A little over-propped, though. At 3800 the boat is doing 50. It will only go to 4600, but is only going 56. Tony at Pulse Drive and I are working out the props and will hopefully have it right or at least close for this weekends Poker Run out of Leverick Bay, BVI. The boat accelerates incredibly! Fires out of the hole on to a plane and if your at 3000 and nail it, it throws your head back like a hot rod! I'll start a new thread after the Poker Run complete with pictures.

We did a little tweaking on the props and are now getting 73-74 at 5000 RPM. I'm guessing if I shave a little more, I'll get 78 at 5300.
TMP took about 3 weeks. There was a delay from Crane in getting the cams. Otherwise it would have been 2 weeks. Price was exactly as quoted and they are great guys to work with. The next time I need motors, I will have them do it. I can't say enough good things about TMP or Pulse Drive.
I've now lived with the Pulse Drive for about 9 months. Anyone with out drives needs to toss them. The only thing I've done to the drive is rinse it. That's all the maintainence I've had to do. I don't throttle the boat when I get airborne, i just leave the thottles alone. Tell me you can do that with your Merc's!
