I dumped both of my Merc pumps for Johnson crank mounted pumps. On my Formula with twin bb's it's a 15 minute job instead of an hour or more. No more belts or hoses to mess with. Remove three screws and loosen the fourth and swing the front cover out of the way. Change impeller and swing cover back and replace screws
