Default msd 6m-2 wiring question

i have a new gaffrig tach/hour meter and i was unsure of how to wire it up.

do i just run a lead from the gray wire on eth MSD brain box to the tach? As for the hourmeter side of it taht is no prob. I was just unsur eof how to wire the RPM signal. Gaffig has abtou 6 differnt ways to wire up thier variosu tach and i wasn;t sure which was right for my setup

tbolt4 with a 6m-2 brainbox and no rev limiters (as of yet), with a blaster2 coil.

(she's getting closer to being a runner!!!!)

Puder, When I replaced my tachs w/gaffrigs I had to change the wiring from the coil to the msd box. 1 engine did not work which was traced to a faulty box. Sent the box back to msd, sure 'nuff it was bad. They sold a box to be for $90. brand new.

Yup - take the gray wire off the coil and plug it into the MSD box. That should do it.

Puder, you will need an msd tach adapter module. You hook the grey wire to it and the output from the adapter to your tach. The reason for this is because the multi-strike pulse from the msd box cannot be interpreted by the tach correctly.

MSD via Summit. Did you try it straight to the MSD box first? My stock tach works fine this way.
