Found my problem Although it didn't look very corroded, I removed the cables at the switch and rubbed them off and while scratching my head trying to figure out what else to try turned the key and fired right up. I'm just not used to things being that simple on a boat. I was nervous all day that was so easy.

I've heard differing stories on running on ALL. I'd like to of course to charge both while under power.

Any other input?

I charge mine on all as so do all of my freinds. Of course we could be wrong. How else to you charge your stereo batteries while under way so when your not running you still have plenty of boom?

Yes, get a battery isolator. The problem with charging on all is if one battery takes a crap you lose both. When I ran 3 batteries, 2 starting and one for the stereo, I found an isolator that allows you to charge 3 batteries off of two motors. And if one motor died you charge all 3 off of one motor, the whole time the batteries are isolated so you don't have to worry about one battery killing them all. Should be standard equipment in any boat that has more than one battery per engine.

Battery Isolator for one motor
