cig,
Wix part no. is 51061 or 51061R where R designates racing. I just went with 51061.

Well, I cant believe no one has brought up the AC Delco 1218 yet. It has been in the top of all reports Ive ever read and has the anti-drainback valve and lists as a replacement for the HP4. It also has the synthetic media.

Formula31....Do all of the AC filters use synthetic media or just some of them? I am currently running a Wix 51069 but, I would like to find a short filter with synthetic media. The Mobil 1 M302 is to long to fit on my '93 with stock exhaust and filter mount. Thanks.

Just some I think. Not sure of my memory without finding the writeups again. I think the wix/napa racing version is synthetic too I believe, maybe even the regular. I have 3 of the stock short merc filters if you would like them. I dont know of a short number for the ac or wix but I am sure there is one.
