The simple answer is NO!
The throttle assembly must be disassembled to remove or change the switch. Very simple to do..... you don't even need a manual to do it!
Flip the retainer lock on the cables & slide the button attachment out of the throttle lever. Mark the cables as to location!!
Remove the throttles/shifter & remove the thru bolts/screws while laying flat. Remove only the section required to get to the switch.... you can remove 1, 2 or 3 sections at a time.
change switch (radio shack probably has one) & reassemble in reverse order.
Do this on a towel or sheet to retain any small parts!! I did a Gaffrig last week & one out of a Formula last fall... no sweat!!
Good luck.

If you are talking about the neutral switch, it is easy to replace, but the switch has a custom bend on the lever. After checking with the switch manufacturer and several suppliers, I ordered mine from Marc at BAM.

Thanks
it is the neutral safety switch
the switch works ,the clip type spring seems to be out of wack.
If I can get it apart I might be able to re adjust it. I don't have a lot of free cable, so I can only get the thing partially out of the dash. I will look for the clips that Blown Formula was talking about. It may be easier then it looks.
I will keep bam in mind if I get that far. I will try it Tuesday night after work.
