Well guys,
Thanks for all your help BUT PN#17316A1 is no longer available from Merc according to Kenny at lowerunits.com.
Worse yet is no superceded number , it's just flat out NLA as merc codes it

Back to the drawing board

Try ebay. Look under "boat parts" and search for "Thunderbolt". While I've never seen the V8-HP or V8-20R module (both 20* modules) I have seen the others from time to time.

I tried the part # at this site and it said it was available for $188. Give it a try but if it doesnt work shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] and I should be able to give you some more leads.

I see what you're saying. I tried calling but it was 7:30 and after hours. I'll try tomorrow and monday too if necesary. I talked to Kenny at lowerunits.com , who's in the same neighborhood with no luck.

Well, you had so much good input this AM that I didn't think I needed to get back; BUT--My supplier says that he can get me 17316-A1 @ $188 dlr.net. If they are going NLA I'm ordering at least one as a back-up . (that's how much I like the way it works for me) I can order two if you like.??!. --- Jer

Got a hold of BAM this morning and they had 2 of the 17316A1's I needed. They're on their way next day air. On line price $188 per.
