Back4More Bmaxed out...
Yep...Them B Bmax's
Had to get new transom assy's since mine were 10 years old with corrosion and all.
Rod at Performance Marine in Oshkosh set them up.
I want to thank them big time for pushing them though ASAP.
He spent a lot of time with me and even picked up some wenches when things got busy to get it done.
BTW...there B some IMCO SC's for sale...you pick gear ratio and we will build them for you.

They look great Mark, saw you running south past Chicago during Thunderun, I was on one engine back to Chicago-lock-river---not fun, nothing major, thinking of trailering all the time next year. Nice paint job.

Jeff,
Yeah...did the lock thing on one motor myself a few times, Hope you get it back on the water soon.
Mark,
Went from the IMCO's to these, I was eating up the gears on those fairly quick and needed a solution to a 9700lbs boat with 850SC's.
I liked the IMCO's but they just can't take that much power and weight for very long, not to mention I like to run it hard.
We lost a few mph with the Bmax's but now i can boost the motors up to what I paid for and should "break" even(for lack of a better word)n speed.

Back4More - looks great!
Not sure if the picture shows the angle correctly but I noticed the prop shafts look like they are well below the hull and you have those monster trim tabs. Is a big Vhull that difficult to get on plane or is there a different reason for that set up?
Just curious coming from a cat owner perspective. Noticed recently how far under the hull my buddies prop shafts in his Cig are and it got me thinking.
Thanks!

Those lowers are -2's so they really aren't that low.
As for the tabs...you know, bigger looks better.

B Max Maxed Out
It seems Rod @ Perf in Oshkosh has the B-Max figured out. Between Rod and his chief drive guy Gary Mizenberg they seem to have a better handle than anyone on that drive.
Good luck.
