Default What color is your Redline drive oil?

I just changed my Redline Shockproof Heavy drive oil for the first time. I ran the Merc drive oil for 10 hours and then the Shockproof heavy for 20 and it is a little gray. There was only a few hairs of metal on the magnets and nothing in the oil. The oil has a grayish red tint to it, not pink like the new stuff. I know there was a residual of the Merc oil in it but it looks pretty dark. For those of you who run the Redline what color is it when changing it? New XR with 40 hour on it and a 502 blower motor with not a lot of hard running. Perhaps the new drive is where the gray is coming from?

For the first few changes it was greyish, and stayed greyish in the bottle for even longer. Now it's a pretty pink every time I change it. Been using Redline for 8 years.

Thats what I was hoping to hear. I am changing the reservoir bottle as the old one sprung a leak. I may consider rinsing the drive with a half quart just for grins.
