Question MSD Spark plug wires

I have a 1982 Chris Craft Stinger With Twin 330's and i'm trying to put a set of MSD wires in it. I've already tried two different sets that the MSD techs told me to use and so far neither one fit the wires were too short. I'm assuming the exhaust manifolds on the marine engines are larger than the automotive applications so the wires won't reach on the boats. If anyone has used these wires do you know what MSD part number will fit properly? or will i just have to make my own set of wires, i see they sell bulk coils of wire. Thanks for the help.

I use the MSD wires on my 540's with Stainless Marine exhaust. I go off the distributer around the back of the heads and then under the manifolds. I'll see if I can find the part # tonight. They also make a set of wires that you have to make one end up on them, I heard they are pretty long to start with. Doug

I ended up getting the the set with only the spark plug boot on them and cutting them to length, it worked pretty good. I see now that the 31499's would have worked also, their a little longer than the standard 454 wires and i have socket style caps. Thanks for all the info.
