Helping a friend out and need to find a schematic for the oil cooler lines.

Thanks Gregp, It shows the hoses but not where they attach to. I need the entire schematic that shows where each hose will attach to on the back of the bellhousing etc.

Mine has the dual cooler bellhousing like http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show_...DUAL+COOLER%29

The prior link shows the line from the bottom of the trans goes to the bottom fitting on the bellhousing cooler on the stbd side, the line from the top of the trans goes to the top fitting of the same cooler.


The trans side cooler is the one shown in the linked picture.

OK, I think I have that end of it, What about the engine oil side if the cooler. I did not take this boat apart and told this buddy6 of mine to take pics and write notes, DUH! now he's asking for help. P>S> what oil filter is used on the TRS'? Looking for the Fram "HP" series.

Oil lines go from "outside" port of block pad to top of port oil cooler (oil flows top to bottom, water flows bottom to top). Bottom of port oil cooler goes to "outside" of remote filter block. "Inside" of remote filter block goes to "inside" port of block pad.
