throttle adjustment
What is the proper way to adjust the throttles so they are even. Application is a 1999 42 Fountain Gaffrig throttles. I am off about 1/2 inch Thanks in advance Daryl

Daryl, you can most times get away with just adjusting the carb linkage at the cable......if you cant get them adjusted that way you will need to pull the throttles out and you will find there are 3 spots for mounting the cable. you will have to play with it to see which spot comes closest to getting your throttles even.. hope that helps.

its kinda of gonna be a hit or miss trial on adjustment......make note of where your throttles are while running....stop, adjust while at idle and go for another run......if you can adjust it at the carb side then you should have no problems.....there will come a certain point where theres not enough slack left in the adjustment to keep it at low idle.....at that point you will need to pull the throttle assembly out and switch the cable position and start all over again because it will move the throw distance around.....make sense?
