My quistion is with the engine off and shift from neutral to foward or reverse is the engine kill thing supposed to move becuase it doesn't and I am not sure how to adjust this thing??? I dont want to start it up try and shift it and not have it killed it will mess up the gears. Help me!!!!!!

The shift cut out switch usually moves when you shift. I'm assuming you have the drive back on. There is no real adjustment for the switch that I can remember. The switch movement is regulated by a spring. There is a procedure in the book for adjustment but I've always found that if the shifter is in neutral and the drive is in neutral and all of the cable mounting points line up then everything should work properly. By the way, you shouldn't have had to remove the engine to replace the cable.
