How do you set ignition timing on a modified motor?

Thrill,
NO, set it @ idle 8 0r 10 degree's. If your module is working it will advance your timing to 32 or 34 when you rev it above the 3750.
So what this means is you have two ways to set the timing.
Base timing at idle or power time at what ever the specified rpms are that you total advance comes in at.
I set mine at base then snap it up a couple times to make sure my module is working and I'm getting full advance this way I'm not trying to turn a distributor and leaning over a motor running at 4000 rpm.
