You can also use a die grinder. I have one that I put a alluminum bit on and it RIPS through glass.

I have used a saber saw (jig saw) with a special bit it has a diamond (?) abrasive glued to it. I picked them up at Lowes I think. It has been awhile, but it cut the glass and never dulled the blade. Not much for a precision cut, but with a steady hand it worked the best. Also use masking tape to protect the surface the tool rides on.

Too Old I am rebuilding the old Deranged race boat and put a new Starfire deck on it. I replaced floors and bulkheads just about everything else. The boat was a sport but now it is a starfire.
