Default Good oil for Twin Disk Tranny?

Going to change the oil in my transmissions and was wondering what oil was recommended for the twin disks
The oil looks good just doing it for preventative reasons.
Thanks for any input.

If they are MG502's, they say to use a straight 30, or 40 if the temps are always above 80. (do not us a synthetic). I'm running the 30 in mine.

It must be Karma! I was driving back from Jacksonville this evening and I was going to post the exact same question when I got home.

PerfectMix........I might mention this. You gotta check the level with the motor running. (just because the amount the recommend, I do not believe it includes the oil cooler and lines. (so its gonna take a tad more than they say)

I have the twin disc manual and it has 30wt if running between certain temps and 40 wt. if other temps.I am on the road and will be back Friday if anybody wants the exact temps. Also it says 3 pints but that does not include the cooler or lines and it says to check it while engine running in neutral.

I saw that too. I want to see someone crawl over those hot exhaust pipes and check it while it's running.

I check mine where it is when it is not running, and keep it there.
