gimble bearing alinement

How do I know if it is on, or how close does it need to be? I have the tool and it slides in and out. Just not sure if it is to tight. I had imagined it like a guy and girl
guess it might be. Serously when do I no I have it adjusted right, or good enophe. All help or coment apreciated. Rag's

I found when they are right when the tool is pushed in rather fast will bounce back a little, if too tite it will have no rebound
