Oil on center plugs on 500 EFI?
Motors run fine, but there is oily residue on 3,4,5,6, spark plugs on both engines. Seems like ring sealing on leakdown. Anybody have this happen? I wonder if this is from running so rich! Engines have 175 hours.

How you been ? Haven't heard from you in a while.
I had A-Z Speed & Marine make two of their ecu's for my 575's about a year ago and the motors have been running a lot leaner and more fuel efficient. The transom barely has any exhaust residue on it when I get back and the plugs look great. Actually this is no surprize since I think we all agree that Mercury makes the motors run rich, rich ,rich. I thought you had bought the new 525's a while back.?
