The "Two-Lane Blacktop" "55 Chevy built by Richard Ruth was the real deal. In fact, that car was also in the movie "American Graffiti" as the 55 Chevy that Harrison Ford was driving. Rumor has it that the car still exists in the hands of a private owner out in southern CA in about the same configuration as it was built. At the time that was one bad-ass big-block.

There was a real good site on Milners 32 Ford coupe which is now owned by Ron Figari. Rons website doesn't seem to be around any more. Too bad.
The site I did find didn't have a lot of info on the car.
