I took a BBC up and forward a few inches and got a Y pipe and transom assy off in a 25' Checkmate.. Saved us a bunch of time by not having to disconnect a lot of stuff..

I'm with Mr Gadgets.
Last spring my brother installed silent choice on my twins. We raised the motor w/o removing the throttle cables, ignition, and etc. . Raised it up till it was tight with the attached accessories and pulled it forward. It was tight and he had some scratches on his back, but he got them installed with out completely removing the engines. Had it done in one evening. He is 'The MAN!!!
