I totally agree with goodfella in this case. I have never put the adhesive on both parts though. My manuals and training said only on the bellows, let dry and then put together. Is that wrong?

Well I'd say after 2 years in the water, and no leaks I'd say it works and works well. And when a mercruiser tech that has forgotten more than most will ever know says its a good alternative because of the working time thats good enough for me. No offense bud, but its not half assed. And not to offend anyone else here that may be a "Tech", I've had my fair share that have screwed alot up. And I don't think I'm alone.
