Engine Compartment Flooring
Time to clean up the engine compartmant while the motors out. Want to pull out the ratty carpet thats Glued in and replace it with something trick. Any suggestions on what to use and where to get it. Saw some purple diamond plate that looked awesome in a Cig. but don't have any idea where to get it. Also What is Pirelli flooring?

Buy a 4x8 sheet of aluminum diamond plate and cut the pieces to fit where you want them and then powder coat the pieces the color you want. You can then epoxy them in place or fasten them to the stringers.

diamond plate flooring is SOOOO much nicer to work on. Level ground that you actally have grip on (when you spill oil) is truly a god send.
get a phoen book or try superpages.com and search for metal fabricators in your area. I had one order the diamond plate and cut andbend it for me. I material cuts and bending was less than $200. and I ordered a full 4'X8' sheet of diamond plate
