TAZ,
I bought my hose from Overtons. It is complete with 3' hose for $15. My cap did only screw on by 2 threads, so I ran a pipe tap deeper for a piece of mind.
Sydwayz is right on the slow draining of cold oil. I try to drain after returning from lake.

A question about the oil drain tubes. Do you guys just let them lay in the bilge? Or do you hang them up somewhere, maybe with a tie wrap?

I made my own. I just bought a new drain plug, drilled it out the tapped it. I put a shut off valve on the end of the plug then a hose that I could pull out the bilge drain hole.

I just went back to the old way ,sucking it out, I got tired of the oil seeping out of the hose and makiking a mess out of my bilge. I couldn't get 2 hands down there to put a plog in the end of the hose. If you can reach the end, you can stick a cork in it.

Since I just push it back inside thru the drain hole after draining the oil, it just lays on the bottom. It doesn't move around or anything either.
