Question Best Place to Buy Marine Gaskets

I am in the process of tearing down my 1999 7.4MPI engine. I need to purchace a new set of Gen VI marine gaskets.
I looked at the Fel-pro web page and could not find anything. Then I e-mail with no responce.
I called Sumit they couldn't come up with part numbers.

So someone please tell me where I should buy...

Thanks,

I don't know if it's the best place, but did you try cpperformance.com ? I purchased my intake manifold gaskets from them. They seem to be good quality.

Default I can get you some gaskets...

I run an auto parts store. We are a Fel-Pro distributor. I can get you ANY and I mean ANY gasket from Fel-Pro. Last time I checked, I believe the Fel-Pro head gaskets for Gen VI were about $55 each. Drop me an email if interested. I am also a Sierra dealer in case you need anything else marine related.
My email is [email protected]
Drop me a note or phone....
Thanks!

Fel Pro 1037 head gasket. You can buy them from Jegs, summit or anywhere for that matter.

Use GM intake gasket. I don't have the number, but it's in their performance parts book.

Default gaskets

I have built several marine engines over the years and I've had great results with Mercruiser gaskets. In general there are several of their gaskets that I like the reinforcement they've made into theirs. I'm sure some will say otherwise but my personal experience has been very good with Merc gaskets. I believe they have made substantial investments making gaskets real marine gaskets. I'm sure there are other good gaskets. I've just always used Merc.

If you're going to use Fel Pro, or any other brand for that matter, make sure you use a marine gasket. The automotive gaskets that are sandwiched have steel inside, not stainless. The only automotive gasket I used on my engine was the one piece silicone oil pan gasket.

Thanks for the help guys!
I would guess getting marine head gaskets and intake gaskets are the most important...
