PM Wette Vette, he has an easy fix that works extremely well. You can keep your thermostat also.

Default Valve

Take that water pressure seriously, I just blew both my intake & head gasket with too much pressure. Merc has a valve

About $110-00 from BAM , it's not available on regular Merc fisch, under performance section. Call Bam or use Wette Vette's system. Lower that pressure now not later. Do a search here & this are several threads regarding water pressure

Do you need a speacial gauge to test water pressure? And where do you attach it at, Im getting some condensation build up in my valve covers and I have a cross over cooling system, I wanted to check the pressure. Thanks

I would also check the water pressure in the block.

THE WATER PRESSURE IN THE INTAKE IS FROM THE SENDER HOLE SO IT SHOULD BE THE SAME AS IN THE BLOCK.AS TO RACINBIRDS PROBLEM CONDENSATION UNDER THE VALVE COVERS IS MORE THAN LIKELY FROM NOT ENOUGH OIL TEMP TO BURN OUT THE CONDENSATION.I HAVE TO RUN A THERMOSTAT FOR THAT REASON.
