Hull Blisters = Use of cheap resins

CHeck out this website. Some manufacturers give a lifetime warranty but do not cover blisters. I had a relative with one such company that advertises here....they would not do a thing about blisters....and they used cheap resins ...
so if you have a blister problem....get a survey and file a law suite..you will win!

While inferior resins certainly invite blister problems, resin quality is absolutely NOT the single cause of blistering.
Proper wetting practices and rolling out of the material are very important as well.

I had a old mid 80's vintage scarab. One side of the hull blistered, the other didnt. Wellcraft wouldnt do anything. They said I must have left it in too warm water too long. What a hoot. Glad I sold that one quick.
