Since this is back up at the top I'll share some info. Darin did my props to this design over the winter. Last year I was hitting 55 mph with them trimmed out as far as I could go and keep them hooked up. I posted earlier this year that the best number I've had since Darin worked them was 54.6 but my cruise was nice and it corrected my porpoise problem. Well this weekend I was in hurry to get back to the dock and didn't have a big crew or a ton of fuel so I trimmed out and let er rip. Well 61.7 on the GPS. To say I was excited was understatement. This boat ran a best of 59.6 with old drives and different props 4 years ago when I got it. I figured I'd never come close to 60 again without freshening the motors. Well, I can now say my boat runs 60
. Thanks Darin, you da man!

Panther,You would be best to have your 25's labbed to pickup some additional rpm and the accleration and cruise speeds should be much improved. The 27's are too big .Darin

There are several factors that will determine this. Hull type of boat and water conditions and more,Usually the 3 blade will give you the best top end speed on a traditional v or semi v- hulls.Feel free to Give us a call and we can talk more about you set-up.Thanks Darin
