OK...I added headers last year and have been told I sould re-program the ECU. I don't want to be running too lean.

Is anything done to help bump the top end at all?

ECU: Engine Control Unit
ECM: Engine Control Module
->no difference, just to the liking of the manufacturer

You can get the ECU to push stock motors some more, but will have to run premium fuel. Weigh the cost vs. gains. Give mark a call, no harm in asking.

Default ECM RECALIBRATION

I just wanted to thank everybody for referring me to Mark at Precision Marine. He is well-equipped, with a bench test simulator and software. His pricing was quite reasonable, stayed in phone contact and was prompt. So, from a very pleased customer I highly recommend Mark, at Precision Marine (504) 469-7463
for any ECM recal or related issues. Dan
