Default carb to efi conversion

Where can I find a efi wiring harness? The motor is a 540.

When people convert back from efi to carb do they still use the harness? Is it worth buying new or can I pick up a used one?

thanks

I am in processing of doing just that. I went with the fast ecm system. Not the cheapest but from what I heard, among the best. I would not recommend the company I bought from but I have heard White racing or something like that is the place to call & get your parts. They will have wiring harness & all. The efi wiring harness is separated from the regular mercurser one. One ***** I see people have about EFI is when they make a change (cam, heads,or ???) getting the ECM updated. With the fast system it has a wide band O2 sensor. With this sensor it checks & make corrections on the fly. The ecm is adjustable with your laptop computer & their software.
