Are the flywheels dimensionally the same? Are they just balanced differently because the Gen 5&6 don't have the additional balance/counterweight at the flywheel flange?
Thanks

Rob,
I found that when the new Gen 5 came out the bolt pattern to the crank was the same between Gen4 and 5 but the balance was different. I believe the Gen 6 is the same. I could not find a flywheel for my Gen 5 back then. Chevy would not sell them. I was able to get one released from Chevy by Merc thru a Chevy dealer in NY. A short time after that they were made available to the public, but that was in "93".
Hope that helps.
