Default Hatch Actuators

One of mine seams to be malfunctioning. Has any had any sucess with rebuilding the electic motors? It is a Warner Electric from Eddie Marine.

i pulled mine apart last season when it died. The brushes and contacts were filthy . I cleaned it up with some carb cleaner and re assembled it. It worked like new when I was done. Good luck

If you're going to take it apart to clean it, use electrical contact cleaner, or brake cleaner. It's a lot less nasty on the motor parts than carb cleaner.
