Angry Calcium/scale

Had boat in water for 7 days while working on trailer. Just pulled it out, all the stainless bolts, prop, turnbuckles, all have a scale you can scrape off with your finger nail. Any one try CLR or have an easier way to remove?

CLR will remove scale.. so will toilet bowl cleanser.... be careful they don't stain the gel coat, or etch the painted surfaces.

Default scale

blownboat,
I've tried clr, yes it works, put it in a spray bottle an spray generously, let sit a few min. an flush off with water, it doesn;t hurt your paint or gel-coat.
